LM PREFIX - Installation

EASY INSTALLATION
WITHOUT NEED OF SPECIAL TOOLS - PROCEDURE:

1. Press firmly 2. Screw tight 3. Hook securely


What is needed for the job:

- Drilling set with screwing head
- Trimmer or jigsaw
- 80 mm wide wooden cross laths
- Roofing felt and other LM-accessories with fastening material


Preparation and installation

Ensure that the sub-structure
is completely even.

To prevent damp (condensation), spread the roofing felt on the rafters.
Since the cross laths (width
80 mm) support the Prefix
modular panels, the distance
separating them (as indicated here) has to be respected at all times.

LM ACCESSORIES
Appropriate ventilation is a must in order to achieve optimal protection and insulation of your roof. That’s why you should take
care for perfect air flow under the modular panels.



It is essential to start fitting
the LM PREFIX Module from the lower right gutter edge.
Install the elements in the
order shown on the sketch.

Before installing the modular panels we advise you to apply vertical markings as required by the installation instructions in order to obtain the required installation alignment (see drawing).


1. The LM Prefix modular panels are delivered on disposable pallets.
2. Use a suitable device for unloading the pallets from the stack if necessary.
3. Example: Rear ventilation via installed eaves plate.

4. Fix the eaves plate.
5. First row: Install the panels parallel to the eaves and fix them so that the screws are visible (these screws and if necessary an adapter have to be ordered separately).
6. Place the CLIP FIX screws supplied on the fastening flap at right angles to the roof surface ...

7. ... and screw in.
8. Subsequent rows of LM PREFIX‘s panels can then simply be hooked on, pressed firmly and screwed tight.
9. Example: Bending on the ridge is only necessary when no “Lüftomat” or “rollridge” is used.

... Once again another LM-Prefix® roof is... complete!
